In the National Trust house at Arlington Court is a little gem for James Dredge enthusiasts.

Two examples of his original work are in the reception area, tucked away at the bottom of the staircase to the right hand side.

In the grounds there is an even bigger surprise.  The masonry A frames were bulit and can still be seen by the lake.

The bridge was manufactured but never delivered and installed, because Chichester changed his mind, or ran out of money !

Does anyone know more ?
